Since I'm not celebrating Thanksgiving this year until Saturday, I had planned on doing a lot of reading this week. Luckily I found this Thankfully Reading 2013 Weekend to participate in. Looks like fun! I already finished reading one book last night (see my previous post). Here are some others I plan to work on this week:

-The Roswell Poems, Rane Arroyo
-A Dash of Style: The Art and Mastery of Punctuation, Noah Lukeman
-Xenocide, Orson Scott Card
-Flight Behavior, Barbara Kingsolver
-The Art of Recklessness, Dean Young
This year I'm participating in the Outdo Yourself Reading Challenge. The goal is to read more books this year than I did last year. So far I've read 12 more this year than last year, and I've still got over a month to go! Click here to read my list. This is such a fun challenge, because you are competing only against yourself. I plan to participate again next year. Why Teach, by Mark Edmundson (left) is the most recent book that I finished.

My new collection of poetry, titled The Eyes the Window, is now available! The book won The Powder Horn Prize for first books, and was published by Sage Hill Press. Soon you will be able to order it from Amazon or directly from the press, but you can also order them from me any time. The list price is $14.95, but I'm offering them at a reduced price, $12.00 (plus free shipping). Send me an email if you'd like to order one:
