What Will You Read This Summer
After reading this piece, I've decided to post my own summer reading list. What will you read this summer? Here's what I plan on reading:
1. The Art Forger, B.A. Shapiro. I'm already almost finished with this one. Since I turned in my grades yesterday, it's technically summer for me. (fiction)
2. With Robert Lowell and His Circle, Kathleen Spivack. I'm about halfway through this one. (nonfiction/memoir)
3. Science Fiction: A Very Short Introduction, David Seed I'm reading this to prepare for a fall class. (nonfiction)
4. The Pleasures of Reading in an Age of Distraction, Alan Jacobs. I've read this one several times before, but am reading it again because I'm going to use it in a fall class. (nonfiction)
5. Booked: Literature in the Soul of Me, Karen Swallow Prior (nonfiction/reading memoir)
6. Glorybound, Jessie Van Eerden (fiction)
7. Better Food for a Better World, Erin McGraw (fiction)
8. Sing You Home, Jodi Picoult (fiction, beach reading!)
9. A Dash of Style: The Art and Mastery of Punctuation, Noah Lukeman (nonfiction)
