Dewey's Read-a-Thon

I'm starting to get excited about the next Dewey's Read-a-Thon, which takes place April 27. Here's a brief description of the event: "For 24 hours, we read books, post to our blogs about our reading, and visit other readers’ blogs. We also participate in mini-challenges throughout the day."

While I often end up needing to spend part of the day grading student papers, this year I've been planning ahead so that I can keep the day clear for reading books! I just have to make sure to get to the library beforehand and stock up

My twelve year old daughter also plans on taking part, and we'll be blogging our progress on here throughout the day.
