It's Monday. What Are You Reading?
Last week I finished Reliquary, by Matthew Minicucci and The Mindful Writer, by Dinty W. Moore. I abandoned The Yellow Birds after reading about sixty pages. While it was written beautifully, nothing much was happening in the story and I couldn't stick with it. Mostly this week I've pared down to reading books I need to read for class, since the end of the semester is coming up fast and I'm pretty buried in work!
1. The Things They Carried, Tim O'Brien (for class)
2. Whale Man, Alan Michael Parker (this novel was published by WordFarm, where I work as the Poetry Editor, and I've read it before, but I'm reading it again to prepare to teach it this semester.)
3. Animal Time, Poems by Greg Pape (I'm reading this one for a review I'm writing of Accents Publishing.)
4. A Dash of Style: The Art and Mastery of Punctuation, Noah Lukeman
