It's Monday. What Are You Reading?

I didn't read a whole lot last week, since I was in Boston attending the AWP Writing Conference. But I did manage to finish The Book Whisperer, from my list last week. I read about fifty pages of Sweet Tooth and then abandoned it. I may try another book by Ian McEwan, but this book felt more like a lesson in English history and politics than a novel to me.

Here's what I'm planning to work on this week. Since I'm on spring break, I'm hoping to spend plenty of time reading!

1. How Children Succeed: Grit Curiosity, and the Hidden Power of Character, Paul Tough
2. Entering the House of Awe: Poems, Susanna Childress
3. The Financial Lives of the Poets, Jess Walter
4. Where'd You Go, Bernadette, Maria Semple

  1. I'm hoping to get to Bernadette soon - I've seen so many excellent reviews, so it's a crime for it to be sitting on my shelves, unread, for so long! Hope you enjoy it, and all your other upcoming reads this week.
