It's Monday. What Are You Reading?
Even though I was still on spring break last week, I didn't end up reading as much as I thought I would. Instead, I felt inspired to start working on an online class I'm teaching this summer titled Aliens to Androids: Contemporary Science Fiction Literature. I did finish a couple books, though, How Children Succeed: Grit Curiosity, and the Hidden Power of Character, by Paul Tough and a chapbook of poems I picked up at the AWP conference by my friend Jonathan Weinert, titled Thirteen Small Apostrophes.
Here's what I'm reading this week.
1. The Financial Lives of the Poets, Jess Walter (I'm almost done with this one.)
2. Where'd You Go, Bernadette, Maria Semple
3. Reliquary, Matthew Minicucci
4. A Dash of Style: The Art and Mastery of Punctuation, Noah Lukeman
