It's Monday. What Are You Reading?
Last week I finished The Financial Lives of the Poets, Jess Walter. While I enjoyed this novel, I thought Walter's latest book, Beautiful Ruins was better. So this week I'm still working on a few books from last week, and have started a couple others.
1. Reliquary, Matthew Minicucci
2. A Dash of Style: The Art and Mastery of Punctuation, Noah Lukeman
3. Whale Man, Alan Michael Parker (this novel was published by WordFarm, where I work as the Poetry Editor, and I've read it before, but I'm reading it again to prepare to teach it this semester.)
4. The Mindful Writer, Dinty W. Moore (Dinty Moore is giving a reading at Valparaiso University next week!)
5. The Yellow Birds, Kevin Powers
